About a Girl
Megan Salmans is a fun loving and quirky soul. Born in Palm Springs, CA, at just 6 years old she knew that she wanted to be an actor. Stealing her mother's video camera and casting her friends and family in her short films, she never seized to make people laugh or cry.
Trained in the Meisner Technique and mentored by the late Carolyne Barry, Megan's career has no where else to go but up. Living in Los Angeles and working in Post Production, as well as Fit Modeling, has given her knowledge and introduced her to a new circle of friends and colleagues.
Represented commercially with Melissa Mangum at Minc Talent Agency, and managed by Matt Prater & Tyler Brown at Dedicated Talent Management. Her most recent role was in the Marlon Wayans Film, FIFTY SHADES OF BLACK. Her next step is taking improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade.
Fit modeling for 2 years at Luxe Fit Model Agency, her clients include Nasty Gal, Fabletics, Blank Generation, Tadashi Shoji, and more.
Megan currently is working on new content to film and produce, giving herself as well as others a chance to build their careers and resumes. She believes that waiting is not an option, and you have to find new and creative ways to keep moving forward. Her goal is to one day book a series regular on a HBO or SHOWTIME show, and work alongside Emily Blunt or Bryan Cranston.
